The continuous casting production line of aluminium ingots for remelting is independently developed for the first time in China and featured with the maximum capacity. Overall, its technological level is domestically advanced.





   Basic performance parameters:

(1) Production capacity of the casting machine set: Max 22t/h

(2) Product weight: 20±1.5kg for ordinary aluminium ingots

      Dimension of an aluminium ingot: 805×184×85mm (L×W×H)

      Dimension of an aluminium ingot stack: 805×805×935mm (L×W×H)

(3) Compressed air:

    Piping pressure: 0.7Mpa

    Working pressure: 0.5Mpa

    Total gas consumption: 95Nm3/h (excluding 43Nm3/h, gas consumption of the threading machine)

(4) Water supply pressure: 0.25-0.35Mpa

    Total water consumption: 330m3/h

(5) Working pressure of the hydraulic system: 6Mpa

(6) Movement speed of moulds: V=4.86m/min (capacity: 22t/h)

    Movement speed of cooling machine: V=12m/min (381 mm/1.9s)

    Movement speed of finished product conveyors: V=12m/min (8 positions)

(7) Automatic weighing and label printing system: An electronic system for automatic metering and automatic printing of labels

   Innovation points:

   An independently and innovatively developed stacker for dedicated use: Fast alignment of ingots on each layer is realized; and, through path optimization of a clamping manipulator, rapid traverse of aluminium ingots is achieved.

   Spray cooling is selected for cooling conveyers, lowering tension of the cooling conveying chain and extending its service life.

   Elements innovatively developed include a rejected ingot cleaner, an automatic weighing device, a field bus control device, a molten aluminum control device and an aluminium ingot thickness detector, making the complete machine more automatic and intelligent.

   Performance advantages of products:

Nearly no obvious "water ripples" can be found on surfaces of aluminium ingots; stacking can be completed in a neat and compact manner; both PLC and field bus control techniques are adopted; only 3~5 operators are required every shift; and, its capacity reaches 22t/h.
